Processing

I recently uploaded an architectural shot to Flickr showing the dome of Blackpool Winter Gardens View Here.
It was suggested that the shot might look good in b&w, so I revisited the image and converted it to black and white.

While editing the image I tried out a few variations and came up with a more saturated version too. Processing an image can create many different looks and feel and in the end it can be quite subjective.

  1. It's fascinating to see what different variations one can come up with! I like both of these, but I think like the saturated one best~~I love the greenish color of the glass. It's a great composition, too!

  2. I love the editing process. That is where the creativity flows in different directions and sometimes it surprises me. I've enjoyed wandering around your blog, Linda. I'm following now. Glad you mentioned it on flickr!
